SNOW ON THE RANGES. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 13. An anti-cyclone is centred east or Otago, and depressions are centred east of Auckland and in tlic south Tasman Sea. respectively. Forecast.—South-easterly to easterly winds, mainly moderate, hut strong in some exposed positions. Weather: Cold and changeable, with passing showers and some snow on the ranges. Conditions better, however, to the west, and gradually improving elsewhere. Seas rough. PIVER GAUGE. Noon.—2ft. Gins.
