SHIP STRIKES REEF.
Received April 13, 8.5 a.m. HOBART. April 13. The freighter AVannon (567 tons) struck a reef in Ulverstonc Harbour, on Thursday night, and is believed to be a total loss. - The ship later stranded on a sand bar, completely blocking the entrance to the River Leven. The vessel, which is throe parts submerged, was formerly owned in New Zealand,
