SMALLER NEWSPAPERS.

PULP SUPPLIES STOPPED. Received April 13, 11.40 a.m. LONDON, April 12. The German invasion of Denmark and Norway may result m .an early reduction in the size of British newspapers and consequent further rises in advertisement rates. Practicallv all the present supplies of paper and pulp came from Sweden, Norway and Finland. Therefore the British papermaking industry is likely to languish until the invasion is ended or fresh supplies of pulp are receiied from other sources.
