(From Our Own Corrcsponder.l.) TAIKOREA, April IC. , A euchre and dance party was held in the ball in honour of the Taikorca-Glen Oroua queen in the present, carnival, Miss Jeannette Scott. 'The winners of the euchre were Mrs Locke and Mr D. Kiehler. Mrs M. Turner is staying with Mrs Castle. Mr and Mrs Mora were recent viesitors to Wellington. Mr and Mrs Ilill also visited the Exhibition. j Tho cold weather is causing; a sudden I drop in the milk supply, which lias kept up Ivory well this autumn. There are still three (assistants engaged at the Taikorea Dairy j Co.’s factory, beside the manager, whereas at this time last year the manager was away lon holiday and there were only two assistlants needed.
