BUSINESS GIRLS’ CLUB.I
The fourteenth annual report of the Business Girls’ Club states that the year had been a successful one. “Wo regret to say that our membership is down, matrimony having claimed a large number of our members. AA e have been very pleased to welcome quite a number of new members, and the membership now stands at SO. Members assisted in making white roses for Mother's Day. Miss Newth represented the club on the executive of the Fighting Services AVelfare Appeal. A donation of £5 was paid to this appeal by the club and 12 members assisted by being responsible for the collection taken on Gala Day at the Milson aerodrome. A donation of £1 Is was also made to the Chinese Befugee Fund. The receipts and expenditure show a credit balance of £ls Os Bd. Thanks are due to the Press and to Mr AV. C. Harrington, public accountant, for auditing the hooks.’’
