HEAD-ON COLLISION
ONE KILLED; FOUR INJURED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 12. A man was killed and lour other people were injured, when two motor-cars met in a liead-on collision on a concrete bridge on the main road near Albany this afternoon. The man killed was Leigh A ipond, aged 45, married, ■' farmer of A\ hangaparao. I lie injured were: All’s Victoria Harnett, aged 57, of Silverdale, severe head and interna) injuries; condition serious; Bertram Duncan McKenzie Harnett, aged Go, fanner, husband ol Airs Harnett, concussion and fracture of the right arm ; condition not serious: Airs Sanders, of To Hnna. internal injuries; condition not serious: I. A. Tichcnor, 25 Minnehaha. Avenue, Takapuna, abrasions.
