(From Our Own Correspondent.) SANSON, April 12. The AA'omon’s Institute recently held a social and dance in aid of the home comforts for soldiers. The time was spent in dancing and items, those being rendered by Mrs Curtis (Ilalcombe), Air Johnson (Foilding) and Ml* F. Walker (N.Z. R.A.K. Station, Ohakea). Mrs AV. IS. Pearce (pre L sident of the institute) thanked the performers and all who had assisted in any way to make the evening a. success. Among those present were: Mesdames IS. J. Davev, black velvet: L. A r . Bishop, black taffeta with wine velvet jacket; York, floral georgette: G. Richardson, blue taffeta; Misses L. Lumsdcn, blue floral satin; G. Adams, floral silk crepe; L. York, green georgette J. Davey, red velvet and white fur coat: M. Bishop, mauve crcpc: M. Buekoridge, floral marocain: AI. Toslevin, black velvet: AI. Richardson, pinkfloral crepe : N. Masters, green net; ( T. Alasters, petunia- taffeta : P. Meyer, blue floral georgette; J. Butler, lavender ponyskin taffeta: V. Butler, ffora-1 satin: F. Johnson (Feilding), shot taffeta; N. Lawrence, green self-figured organdie; D. Flygcr, fuchsia ninon over taffeta and greyfur coat.
