WOMEN’S FOURSOMES. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 11. The final of the New Zealand women’s autumn handicap golf foursomes is being played at Maungakiekie this afternoon. In the semi-finals Mrs G. F. Ferguson and Mrs J. M. Wilson (Auckland Club) beat Miss M. Ilaslett and Mrs L. H. Pegler (Maungakickic), 6 and 4. The former pair won the event when it was played at Middlemore in 1932. In the other semi-final Misses A. Grove and E. Schnauer (Maungakiekie) beat Mrs F. Breld and Miss E. Stokoe (Orakei), 6 and 5. Mrs Ferguson and Mrs Wilson have to concede their opponents in the final seven strokes.
