ALL SAINTS’ MEN’S CLUB.

The opening of the 19-10 ' session of All Saints’ Men’s Club took place last evening and was largely attended. Rev. Canon Woodward occupied the chair and introduced Rev. Captain A. Hirawira, of the Maori Battalion, who gave a most interesting talk on matters appertaining to the native race. At the conclusion of the talk various questions were asked and answered and the hope was expressed that another address would be given by the same speaker at a later date. Two competitions were held and proved enjoyable, as was also a niusijCal item by Mr Wright. Mr H. ,1. King demonstrated problems with figures on a blackboard. The vicar expressed the hope that the coming session would prove successful and beneficial to all the members.
