TOURS ABROAD.

SYDNEY, April 9. The secretary of the Sydney Rugby Union (Mr Nosoda) to-day said that he was not in the least surprised at the New Zealand Union’s reported decision to eliminate Rugby tours during the war. He added: “Our communication to New Zealand was more in the nature of a feeler respecting their plans, hut not a definite invitation. Tliev could have accepted if they wished. We have not lost sight of ‘the national circumstances.’ ”
