MARKET FAVOURS SELLERS. SYDNEY, Jan. 31. 4.t the wool sales there was belter competition from the Continent, Yorkshire, and Japan. The market ruled in sellers favour for all descriptions except very shabby and faulty fleece lines, prices for which were unchanged. , Greasy Merino made to 2(jd. A total of 9569 bales was offered and 8440 were sold, 1145 being sold privately. The average price last week was 14.4(1 per lb.
