The Mayor (Mr T. Collins) advised this morning that he had received a telegram from Hon. B. Martin stating that he would be arriving in Feilding to-morrow at noon to attend the Fcilding A. and P. Association’s Show. Except for the addition of two probationers, Misses 1). Feakins and F. McLeod, the teaching staff of the Manchester Street School remains unchanged. Mr Gaze (headmaster) stated this morning that ho was not in a position to give particulars of the attendance until to-morrow. The services of Mr A. E. Matheson, treasurer, were eulogised by the president of the Feilding Caledonian Pipe Band (Mr D. G. Fraser) at its annual meeting on Saturday evening. Mr Fraser said that Mr Matheson had been treasurer since the inception of the band, and his lengthy term of service was indeed noteworthy.
