R.S.A. MATCH. During the week-end the first crioket match of what is hoped will become an annual fixture was played between teams representing the Returned Soldiers’ Association and the jockeys and trainers at Awapuni. Jockeys and trainers had first use of the wicket to compile 143 runs. Returned Soldiers’ Association replying with 114. In their second strike* the jockeys and trainers were dismissed for 98, and at stumps Returned Soldiers’ Association were all out for 125 in their second innings. The jockeys and trainers won by two wickets.
