POWERFUL STATION.
INAUGURATION IN EGYPT. CAIRO, Jan. 30. Mr John TVebb, an inspector-genera! on the State telephone and telegraph service and a member of the advisory board on the State broadcasting, reveals that Egypt is planning ft powerful transmitting station, which will make Cairo the most powerful radio centre in the Mediterranean on the basis capable of dominating Bari, the Italian station.
