RAID ON BARCELONA. ' 350 KILLED; 700 INJURED. (United Press Association— By Electric Telegrapn—Copyright., BARCELONA, Jan. 30. The air raid casualty list is incomplete owing to the difficulty of reCrtng and g identifying the victims It is now stated that 300 were killed and 700 were injured. The bombs split several five-storey apartment houses which were over ‘ crowded with refugees from top A strong wind caused the collapse of other partly shattered buddings, killing and injuring those in tiie raid lasted for five minutes and the second lasted six minutes. Six bombers took part and dropped aerial torpedoes weighing 10001 b. apiece in the most crowded areas. The streets were littered vitli human fragments. Nevertheless, die city’s morale has not been destrojed. Normality seemed to return with extraordinary suddenness, /rams resumed their running and mothers were wheeling their babies in perambulators as ambulances dashed ott loaded with the dead and dying.
