There was a large Anniversary Day attendance. Results: PIONEER HANDICAP, of £100; for unhoppled trotters; 3.43 class. One mile and a half. 2 TRIANGLE, 36yds bhd J 1 KING FRANZ, 48yds bhd \ 6 BON HAVEN, 5 Also started : Annie Moko, Count Parrish, Lucky Rose scr, Native Leaf 12yds bhd, Dollar Maid 24, Welcome Guy 60. Ono and a-half lengths; two lengths. Time, 3.29 4-5. WAIMEA HANDICAP, of £100; 3.43 class. One mile and a half. 2 RAY QUEEN, scr 1 3 RESISTANCE, scr 2 1 TEMERAIRE, scr 3 Also started : Silver Grattan scr, Dushka, Travelwell 24yds bhd. A nose; four lengths. Time, 3.26 3-5.
