DOMINION CENTENNIAL.

MR PARRY’S OBSERVATIONS. SYDNEY, Jan. 31. The preparations proceeding for. celebration of New Zealand’s centennial in 1940 are being detailed in interested quarters in Australia by Hon. W. E. Parry (New Zealand Minister of Internal Affairs), who stated that be bad gathered considerable material relating to organisation and general working arrangements for Australia’s 150th birthday celebrations, which would be of value and helpful to the Dominion Government in its plans for the celebrations and festivities of the Dominion’s 100th birthday. “The conception of Australia’s jilan of operation for its celebrations and the effectiveness of its working are notable achievements, and Now Zealand hopes to obtain a like measure of success,” declared Mr Parry.
