REMAND ON BAIL.

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jan. 29. Herbert Ernest Derenze, aged 27, a salesman, and Harold Newman, aged 38. a clerk, were to-day charged before Mr J. L. Hewitt, S.M., with robbing George William Smith with violence of a wallet containing £25 10s. Sub-Inspector McLean said he had discovered Derenze tvas not the correct name of the first accused. The men.were remanded till Friday, bail being fixed at £l5O.
