. NEW ZEALANDERS WIN. MATCH AT SYDNEY. SYDNEY, Jan. 28. The New Zealand women cricketers to-day defeated a strong Northern Metropolitan team at Chatswood by 68 runs on the first innings. New Zealand, batting first on a damp wicket, had lost nine wickets for 98, but Bladder and Taylor added 47 for the last-wicket stand. Hatcher played a stylish innings.
