WOODVILLE.

WOODVILLE, Jan. 29. Mrs Wcstwatov, of Hamilton, is visiting the district. Rev. J. 11. Boyd and Mrs Boyd have returned from a visit to Napier. Mrs P. Nelson, of Cambridge, who lias boon the guest of Mr and Mrs J. S. Nelson, has returned home. Mr J. Sullivan presided at a meeting of the committee of the Woodville Amateur Athlotic and Sports Club, when the secretaries (Mossrs A. Harris and G. Butler) submitted a report and balance-sheet on the recent sports; on tho day a loss of only is 6d was sustained. The gate receipts were about £l7. It was decided to thank the Woodville Borough Council for their attention to the recreation ground.
