DIXON CUP RETAINED. Five rinks from the Terrace End Bowling Club visited the Feilding Club’s green on Saturday for a match. The green was in splendid order, the recent rain having freshened it considerably. The visiting bowlers, however, found it quit© fast enough, and stated that their own green was much slower. Afternoon tea was served by the local ladie3. . ! The fixture included a contest for the Dixon Cup (held by Terrace End) which was played at Palmerston North.
