BOROUGH RATES.
A week ago yesterday the Borough Council had collected £7711 of the 1937-38 rates levied, amounting to £16.725. Yesterday the town clerk (Mr C. H. Tate) intimated that only £SOOO remained to be collected. Of that amount he anticipated that by Monday evening there would only be £IOOO to be collected.
