MIDNIGHT TRAGEDY
CYCLIST KILLED. Per Press Association. INVERCARGIILL, Jan. 28. Wile'll cycling home from the Oddfellows’ Lodge at Waikhvi at about midnight, William Connors, aged 44 and a married man with six children, was struck by a taxi from behind and killed instantaneously. The body was carried fifty yards before falling clear.
