Mr and Mrs 11. R. Green, with Miss Irene Green, of Kairanga, are spending a fortnight’s holiday at Motueka.

Mr and Mrs E. M. Mitchell, of Palmerston North, are visiting Wanganui.

Mrs T. R. Moore, of “Waimarama,” Terrace End, who has been visiting Kawhia, has returned home.

Mrs John Wynne-Jones, of Palmer, ston North, is the guest of her mother, Mrs H. E. Gaze, of Hamilton.

Mrs , McCaskill (Miss Gwen Gibbs), who has been visiting Napier, will return to Palmerston North this evening.

Mr and Mrs S. B. Reed, Miss W. Reed and Mr A. Reed, of St. John’s Avenue, have returned home after an enjoyable motoring tour in the Main Trunk and Taranaki districts. y

Mrs W. Tye and Miss Christabel Tye have returned to Wellington from Wanganui. Miss Tye is on annual leave from the Palmerston North Hospital. Mrs James McLennan, of Christchurch, is spending a holiday in Palmerston North, and is the guest of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr and Mrs D. G. McLennan, Ranfnrly Street.

Regret that Mrs Byrne, of Joseph Street, is indisposed, is expressed in the All Saints’ Parish Magazine, which records that, besides being a regular worshipper at the services, she is a keen member of the Missionary Guild, and parish secretary for the Church Chronicle.

Mesdames H. Brown, E. Anderson, J. Davidson, L. Wood, R. McMurray, T. Simpson, E. Anstis, T. Lee, It. Moxon and It. D. Gambrill, who have been taking part in the New Zealand croquet championships, which were held at Wanganui, have returned to Palmerston North.

For sixteen years Mrs Cutler, of Ada Street,, has been a district visitor for All Saints’ parish, but has reluctantly found it necessary to retire from this work in the meantime. Thanks are conveyed to her in the Parish Magazine for her services, and the hope is expressed that, after a rest, she may take up similar activities again.
