Received January 28, 8.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 27. Another Japanese ship, the Canberra Maru, has now been boycotted by wharf labourers, who refuse to load the cargo of flour, lead and tin clippings. The gangs also still refuse to load the Atsuta Maru. The Federal Cabinet is watching the position.

JAPAN’S AIMS. “REDISTRIBUTION OF RESOURCES.” TOKIO, Jan. 11. The Asahi prints a description by its managing-director, Mr Bunshiro Suzuki, wno recently visited Australia, of an animatedj but friendly, discussion of the redistribution of material resources with Lieutenant-Colonel W. R. Hodgson, Secretary of the Australian Department of External Affairs. Lieutenant-Colonel Hodgson, Mr Suzuki says, disagreed with the statertient by the Japanese Premier (Prince Konoye) to the foreign journalists’ corps, that international justice required' a re-adjustment of the world’s status quo. Mr Suzuki adds: “A Japanese must disguise himself to avoid bodily harm when he visits a Chinese restaurant in . Melbourne.” There has been a misapprehension, because Prince Konoye. as Premier, has never interviewed the foreign journalists’ corps. However. the sentiment expressed is felt by all Japanese.
