PERSECUTION OF JEWS.

INTENSIFICATION OF SCHEME. LONDON. Jan. 26. The Berlin correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says that, in connection with the intensification of the anti-semitic campaign, Jews are to be deprived of passports, precluding their departure from Germany unless they possess an official declaration that they have important business abroad. All returning migrants automatically pass through concentration camps. All Jewisli-owned hotels havo been closed in Upper Silesia. The News-Clironicle’s Berlin correspondent says that the Government is notifying Jewish landlords that it wishes to acquire their property, usually at half its real value; in default it will be confiscated.
