BRITISH EXCHEQUER.
RETURNS SHOW INCREASE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Jan. 25. Exchequer returns show that the total ordinary revenue amounted to £590,080,539, compared with £559,829,382 at the corresponding date last year. The total expenditure, less self-bal-ancing items, was £699,123,390, compared with £650.818,302 at the corresponding date in 1937.
