FINE AND WARMER. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jan. 27. An anti-cyclone of rather slight intensity now covers New Zealand while a depression has advanced onto the south-west Tasman Sea. Forecast: Light to moderato and variable winds but northerlies soon prevailing and later freshening. Weather : Fine and becoming warmer. Seas, a moderate but decreasing southerly swell. RIVER GAUGE.
