A.M.P. SOCIETY.

Mr W. T. Ikin, manager for New Zealand of the A.M.P. Society, has received tho following cablegram from the bead office in Sydney : “The total now business in the ordino.ry department was £24,176,655, an increase of £2,300,631; industrial department, £7,551,044, an increase of £1,447,648; making a total of J 231.727.699, the increase being £3,748,279. Both totals constitute a fresh record. A new record was established in the ordinary department at all branches except West Australia and London and in the industrial department at every branch. Of the total new business completed in 1937 over £31,000.000 was written in Australia and New Zealand.” In the New Zealand branch the ordinary department completions were 13,536 policies for £6,092.569, and in the industrial department 14,639 policies for £1,012,226 —a record in each department.
