LONG-DISTANCE FLIGHT.

THREE BRITISH BOMBERS. LONDON, Jan. 18. The Air Ministry stated officially today that it had definitely decided that three Vickers Wellesley bombers will take oft' together in the early spring in an attempt to aebievo a long-dis-tanco record in the direction of Australia. “Three machines will fly in formation,’’ an official said. “It is uncertain at present whether the machines will go non-stop to Singapore, or fly leisurely to Cairo and then non-stop to Australia. It is a fact that certain special arrangements are being made at Cairo in case the machines set oft from there. There is no foundation for the suggestion that four machines will take part.”
