DEER STALKING EXPEDITION. MAN ACCIDENTALLY SHOT. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 27. Tragedy overtook two men who were out deer stalking in the Malvern district yesterday afternoon, when one slipped and accidentally shot tho other, the injury proving fatal. The dead man is Henry Tuck, aged 35, a shearer at Mount Algidus Station. Mr Tuck and his companion went out yesterday in the back country on a deer stalking expedition and had travelled some miles when the accident occurred. The companion apparently slipped, his gun discharging, and the charge struck Mr Tuck in the left thigh. Immediately the other man set out a long distance to the station for assistance, but when they arrived back Mr Tuck bad died.
