THE OTAKI SEAT.
NATIONAL PARTY NOMINEES. Nominations for the selection of th« candidate to contest the Otaki seat m the interests of the New Zealand National Party at the general election closed last night and were received at a meeting at Otaki of 86 delegates presided over by Mr Barclay. The nominations are : —Messrs G. A. Monk (Reikorangi), Frank E. Trim (Levin) and Ernest Windley (Ponrua). A meeting of delegates _ from various branches of the party in the electorate is to be held at Otaki next month, when the selection of the candidate to represent the party will be made.
