BODY DISCOVERED
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 25. The decomposed and naked body of a man whose identity is unknown, but whose age is thought to ha.ve been between 25 and 30, was found in reserve land at Waimairi, a short (list.a nee from the beach, at 3 o’clock this afternoon. A double-barrelled shotgun was lying beside the body, the triggers being tied with two strings leading to each of the man’s big toes. The man’s skull was smashed* apparently from a shotgun discharge. The shotgun eont.ained a live and one discharged cartridge. There was no clothing near the body.
