COMING-OF-AGE PARTY.
On Monday evening, Mr and Mrs Cliristensen, of Cheltenham, gave a party to celebrate the coming-of-age of. their daughter Rita. The time was happily spent in games and dancing, the music for which was supplied by Mrs G. McDonald and the guest of honour, who chose for the occasion a smart 'blue frock. Streamers, hydrangeas, and sweet peas in shades of pink and blue made the drawingroom look very attractive. During the serving of supper the guest of honour cut the beautiful birthday cake, which had been made and iced by her sister, Miss A. Cliristensen. Her brother, Mr P. Cliristensen, proposed the chief toast and Miss Cliristensen received the good wishes of many friends. Among those present were: —Mr and Mrs G. McDonald, Mr and Mrs W. Foss, Mr L. Hinks (all of Feildmg) and Mrs J. Gunn (Hamilton).
