ACTRESS’S SUICIDE.

EARNED FAME IN “MIRACLE.”

NEW YORK, Jan. 24

Miss Rosamond Pinchot, an actressand daughter of the former Governor of Pennsylvania, who became internationally famous in Professor Max Reinhardt’s “Miracle,” committed suicide to-day. She was dressed in evening clothes. A hose led from the exhaust of tho car which was parked inside the garage. Her friends attributed Miss Pinchot’s suicide to grief due to an estrangement from her husband, William Gaston. Ironically Professor Reinhardt. explaining his choice, described her as the “perfect type for a tragedy.”
