SEAMEN APPREHENDED.
INSULTED JAPANESE FLAG. Received January 26, 10.45 a.m. TOKIO, Jan. 25. It is reported that seven of the crew of the British steamer Severnleigh, under charter to a Japanese firm, were arrested to-day for hauling down and tramping on two Japanese flags. Five were later released and they returned to their ship.
