' LICENSE CANCELLED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jan. 24. On a charge of intoxication while in charge of a motor car in the city on Saturday afternoon, Walter Francis Swiney, aged 36, a labourer, was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment with bard labour by. Mr J. H. Luxford. S.M., to-day. He was prohibited from obtaining a driver’s license for 18 months and was convicted and disr charged for driving without a license.
