Death, who has been spending a holiday with her mother, Mrs A. E. Death, of Hawera, has returned to Palmerston North. Mr and Mrs J. Claascn, of Rongotea, have left on a tour of the Auckland district. Mrs C. Wisehnowsky, of Milson, is spending a holiday in Wellington. Mr and Mrs W. Hurst, of Rongotea, are on a ten days visit to the Waikato. Mr and Airs R. Priest, of Milverton Avenue, Palmerston North, havo returned from a motor tour of the Taranaki, Waikato and Auckland districts. Airs AV. J. Read and family, of Rongotea, are at Foxton Beach. Airs AV. Amies and Aliss AVinnie Amies, of Rongotea, havo returned home from a visit to Foxton Beach. The friends of ATiss Paynter and Air Knowles, who were seriously injured in an accident at Huntly twelve months ago, will regret to learn that Miss Paynter has been required to undergo a serious operation in a private hospital in Palmerston North. She will be accorded the good wishes of a wide circle of friends for a speedy recovery. Aliss R. Billens and Aliss B. Oakley, of Palmerston North, who have been spending a holiday at Paekakariki, have returned home. Aliss Al. Oakley, who proceeded to Wellington, will return home to-morrow.
