Amies and Aliss AVinnie Amies, of Rongotea, havo returned home from a visit to Foxton Beach. The friends of ATiss Paynter and Air Knowles, who were seriously injured in an accident at Huntly twelve months ago, will regret to learn that Miss Paynter has been required to undergo a serious operation in a private hospital in Palmerston North. She will be accorded the good wishes of a wide circle of friends for a speedy recovery. Aliss R. Billens and Aliss B. Oakley, of Palmerston North, who have been spending a holiday at Paekakariki, have returned home. Aliss Al. Oakley, who proceeded to Wellington, will return home to-morrow.
