BRAVELY FACES DEATH. Received January 25. 10.15 a.m. HANKOW. Jan. 24. General Han Fu-chu was to-day executed for weak resistance in - Shantung Province. General Han Fu Chu heard the War Minister, Mr Hoying Chin, pronounce the death sentence, tlie words of which he himself had often uttered. In a sleety dnzzle, unshaken, he faced . the nunp sqnad. In accordance •with immemorial Chinese usage, the most expensive procurable coffin awaited the corpse.
