WOMEN’S TEAM.

WARM WELCOME TO SYDNEY. SYDNEY, Jan. 24. The New Zealand women cricketers on arrival here to-day were warmly welcomed by officials of the New South Wales Women’s Cricket Association, and motored to city hostels. The players were just a little seared about the Sydney heat, about which they had heard so much, but the weater was bright and cool to-day and completely disarmed them. The whole party was in high spirits. Their first match against New South Wales juniors is fixed for Thursday.
