A CAGOULARD CRIME.
ALLEGED ADMISSION. PARIS, Jan. 23. The police, after the discovery of a stiletto and a revolver, believe that the Cagoulards murdered M. Nava chin in January. 1937. Locuti. an engineer in the Michelin factory, is alleged to have admitted that the Cagoulards were associated with the crime. M. Navnehin. who was a brilliant Russian economist and was at loggerheads with the Soviet, was found dead and supposedly murdered in a lonely spot in the Bois de Boulogne. It was assumed that lie could have proved the innocence of some of the accused in the Moscow trial, which was proceeding. at the time. A post-mortem examination surprisingly established the fact that M. Navachin was not shot, as thought at first, but stabbed with a stiletto-like dagger.
