SHARE-HAWKING.

SYDNEY MAN CONVICTED. Received January 25, 8.5 a;m. SYDNEY, Jan. 24. The first conviction under the amended Companies Act prohibiting share-hawking was recorded to-day at the Armida.le Police Court, where Arnold Lovell, aged 46. a manager, was fined £IOO, tvas sentenced to three months’ imprisonment, and ordered to pay £IOO costs for illegally hawking shares among farmers and others m the country.
