DULL AND MISTY, WITH RAIN. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jan. 24. A rather deep cyclonic depression is passing slowly eastward of the Dominion while an intense anti-cyclone covers south-eastern Australia. The forecast is for strong south-east, to southerly winds to gales. The weather will be dull and misty with further rain. Some heavy falls are probable with flooded rivers. The temperatures will be cold. Seas rough to high with conditions moderating gradually to-morrow.
