WOODVILLE.
WOODVILLE, Jan. 22. The two returned soldiers who have be<ni chosen to represent the Woodvillc R.S. T. in the continengt to visit Sydney aro Messrs J. J. Waugh and W. A. Cook.The death has occurred of a former resident of Woodville. Mr Arthur Harry Cox, at tho Napier Hospital. Mr Cox was a retired Railway Department em-' ployees and was tho eldest son of Mrs F. Cox, of Woodville, and the late Mr Cox. He was one of the first pupils of tho Woodville School. On the occasion of the diamond jubilee in September he visited the town and took part in the celebrations. Several years ago Mr Cox was % champion rifle shot and in tho early clays was ono of those instrumental in tho . formation of the Woodville Rifle Club. He was a member of the team when tho Coleman Shield was won. Mr Cox was a foundation member of the Woodville Tent of Rechabitcs and up to the tiino of liis death retained an interest in its activities. He was also a .staunch .'member of tho Methodist Church. Left to mourn their loss aro his widow, mother, and two daughters,-Mrs Oliver,-of Wellington, and Miss I. Cox, of Napier,.
