The Dominion croquet championships were advanced a further stage on Saturday and the semi-finals on Saturday, and the semi-finals in the doubles will probably be played on Monday.. In the handicap singles, G. Hart (Timaru) beat Airs Gambrill (Palmerston North). Airs Gambrill made one point when Hart hit in and made a complete round to rover, and on his opponent failing to hit in proceeded with the other ball and soon had both clips on the peg, finishing before Airs Gambrill had a chance to increase the score.
