Miss M. Lorslen and Miss H. Beavis, of Auckland, are the guests of Mr and Mrs li. J. Crawford, the Manse,l Rongotea. Mrs Redwood and Miss M. Redwood, of Woodville, and Miss E. Redwood, of Palmerston North, have been visiting Wanganui as the guests of Miss M. McDonald. Arriving at Palmerston North on Saturday, Mrs W. Bailey, of Reef ton, left later for Woodville where she is the guest of Mrs H. Stanborough, of Station Street.

Miss Sarita McLaughlin, of 11cmuera, is spending a few 1 days in Palmerston North as the guest of Mrs Southey Baker, of .Victoria Avenue. Miss J. Donaldson, of the staff of the Wanganui Public Library, is spending a holiday in Palmerston North. Mrs H. V. Stansfeld Prior, a member of the Royal Philharmonic Society, London, and president of the Society of Women Musicians, London, arrived at Wellington on Saturday. Mrs Prior lectured in New Zealand three years ago and it is her first visit to the country since then.
