CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCHES.
Truth was the subject of the Les-son-Sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday. The golden text was Psalm 86: 15, “Thou, 0 Lord, art a God full of compassion, and plenteous in mer:y and truth.” Among the citations which comprised the Lesson-Sermon were the following from the Bible: “Ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Bock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment : a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.” (Deut. 32: 3. 4). Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy: “In science truth is Divine. and’the infinite God can have no unlikeness. Did God. truth, create error? No! ‘Doth a 'fountain send forth at. the same place sweet water and bitter?’ God being everywhere and all-inclu-sive, how can He be absent or suggest the absence of omnipresence and omnipotence ? How can there he more than all.” (p. 287.)
