Mr J. A. Lee, Parliamentary Undersecretary in charge of housing, will probably visit Australia with the contingent of New Zealand returned soldiers which is to attend the sesquicentenary celebrations inr April. Bishop Francis Kelly, of Oklahoma City, America, will represent the Board of Catholic Bishops of the United States, at the Catholic centenary celebrations to be held in - the Dominion next month. Bishop Kelley is in the meantime paying a visit to Australia. Mr David Geddie, London manager of the Bank of New South Wales, has retired. In 1932-33 he made an extensive tour of Australia, New Zealand, and the Far East. He began his banking career with the Commercial Bank of Scotland, and entered the service of the Bank of New South Wales'ir, 1893. He was appointed London manager last January. Mr Geddie has been succeeded by Mr H. E. Holiday, who has had a wide experience in Australia and New Zealand. In 1934 he was transferred to London as submanager, and since early in 1936 he has been assistant manager.
