NATURIST CULT.
PROPOSAL FOR NAPIER. Per Press Association. NAPIER, Jail. 21. Napier is to have its nudist club. A movement afoot to assemble, naturists in Napier and the surrounding district has as its objective the formation of a club for the enjoyment of communal sun-bathing and out-doorv exercise in tlio freedom of a uniform not subject to the restrictions associated with the normal routine of life. Both sexes will be . eligible for membership of Napier’s nudist club which, if it succeeds in gaining a firm footing, proposes to establish a colony, in some secluded corner of the district, wliero its members may reap the fullest benefit of the sun’s rays. Definite rules for the conduct of the club—a breach of any will mean immediate expulsion for the member responsible—the pursuit of suitable recreational activities, and the promotion of evening social entertainments beneath the beneficial glow of sun la.mps are only some of the proposals which the organisers of the club have in view.
