INVESTIGATIONS PROCEEDING. SYDNEY, Jan. 20. Detectives engaged on the “pyjama girl” case have reported to Sydney headquarters that their investigations so fur have been abortive, but as the result of anonymous letters their Inquiries are still proceeding in other States. * . The body of the pyjama girl is still embalmed at. Sydney University' awaiting identification. A message on January 19 stated:Detectives in Sydney last night were informed by a man that he had information which probably would throw much light on the “pyjama girl” ; erime. and in company with a detective he left immediately for another State, which is not disclosed.
